This public Mass celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony takes place each year at St George's Cathedral. It is for couples marking their 1st, 10th, 25th, 40th, 50th and 60th+ wedding anniversary.

The most recent took place on October 9 this year, with Archbishop John presiding.

However, the Marriage Mass is usually celebrated on the second Saturday of July (at 3pm). Couples are invited to apply before the event so as to receive a written personal invitation from the Archbishop. That invitation also covers a small number of family guests.

Details of how jubilarians can book their places at the annual Southwark Marriage Mass are publicised by parishes throughout the diocese early in the year. Alternatively, you can contact your local coordinators to register your interest.
