Racial Justice Sunday 2024: Special Edition Newsletter

Racial Justice Sunday 2024

''It is important to recognise that we are all children of God,
regardless of our race or background.”

- Southwark Commission for Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion

On the Feast Day of Saint Josephine Bakhita, the Southwark Commission for Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion is pleased to release a Special Edition Newsletter, celebrating the vibrant Racial Justice Sunday Mass that took place at the end of last January in St George’s Cathedral

Celebrating the theme of the Mass ‘Seeing one another in the life of the Church’, the Newsletter also includes information about how we can take active steps to celebrate diversity in our parishes, an opportunity to read Archbishop Wilson's homily on Racial Justice Sunday, a prayer for the Feast of St Bakhita and details of Saints from around the world whose feast days are celebrated by the Church in February.
