Advent & Christmas at St George's Cathedral 2025
Celebrate the seasons of Advent and Christmas at St George's Cathedral
This year the Cathedral will host a series of three Advent Talks on Friday evenings.
The annual Christmas Fair takes place in the Amigo Hall on the Third Sunday of Advent, 14 December from 11am, which is a fun and festive event all parishioners to join in!
The annual Cathedral Advent Carol Service, lead by Archbishop John Wilson, is on Tuesday 9 December at 7.30pm. All are welcome so please invite family and friends to join us.
The Children's Crib Service will take place at 2pm on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 December. Please bring your child dressed as a king, shepherd, or an angel.
Finally, join the Cathedral for Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve to celebrate the Nativity of the Lord at the Cathedral. There are also a number of additional Masses and services on this day and during the Octave of Christmas, and up to Epiphany.
