We employ nearly 400 people in a range of jobs from gardeners to accountants.  All of the jobs serve the mission of the Diocese, whether they are in a parish and close to our grassroots ministry or in Diocesan Central Services undertaking more business-related and administrative functions.

All employees have a contract of employment with the Diocese, even if they work in a parish, and are governed by the rules and regulations of employment, which are contained in the Staff Handbook.  All employees of the Diocese are paid through a central diocesan payroll.
