Ordinations this summer
The dates of ordinations to the Priesthood and the Diaconate taking place this summer
On Saturday 20 July, the ordination of Deacon Frazer Bellfield to the Priesthood is scheduled at St George's Cathedral.
Deacon Frazer is in his sixth and final year of seminary and most recently has been serving in the St George's Cathedral parish. Speaking ahead of his ordination, Deacon Frazer said:
"I'm greatly looking forward to becoming a priest. I'm sure there will be challenges, but it will be greatly rewarding."
Deacon Frazer's ordination is at 12.30pm on Saturday 20 July at St George's Cathedral. If you are unable to make it in person, you can watch via live stream and follow the Mass with an Order of Service.
There are also two ordinations to the Diaconate planned this summer. The ordination of Mr Stephen Trafford to the diaconate is scheduled to be celebrated at 10:30 on Saturday 15 June at Westminster Cathedral.
The ordination of Mr Daniel Turner as a permanent deacon is scheduled to be celebrated at 12:30 on Saturday 27 July at St George’s Cathedral.
Ordinations are always a joyful occasion, so if you can please do attend. Please join us in praying for the Reverend Frazer Bellfield, Daniel Turner and Stephen Trafford.
