Archbishop Wilson's Homily for Prisoners' Sunday

On Prisoners Sunday Christians are called to reflect on and pray for prisoners, their families, those that work with them and the whole justice system,

As Vice President of the Prison Advice and Care Trust Archbishop Wilson celebrated Mass in St George's Cathedral.  A representative from the charity was also invited to share prayer cards and offer further information about how people can get involved in various ways.

View Archbishop Wilson's homily below, in which he outlines the importance of gratitude, forgiveness and compassion.

Please pray for prisoners, that through the often dark and challenging days of incarceration, God will help them to find a new kind of freedom in him, and enable a fresh start.
