St George's Day 2024
The Solemnity of St George will be celebrated on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 in St George's Cathedral. This is an opportunity to give thanks for the life of Saint George, and to pray for our country and the work of St George's Cathedral in Southwark.
In addition to regular Masses at 7.30 am and 12.30 pm in St George's Cathedral that day, there will be an additional Solemn Mass at 6 pm with the Chapter of Cathedral Canons in attendance. Fr John Diver will be inducted into the Cathedral Chapter and it will be possible to venerate the relic of St George.
