Solemn Requiem Mass for HM Queen Elizabeth II - Celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson
Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Archbishop John Wilson will be celebrating a Solemn Requiem Mass in thanksgiving for her life and for the eternal repose of her soul.
On the day before the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, all are welcome, whether in person or online, to join Archbishop John Wilson and the Cathedral Clergy for a Solemn Sung Requiem Mass, which will be offered for the repose of Her Majesty's soul.
The Archbishop warmly invites all to the Mass, and to unite with him in prayer, on Sunday 18th September at 12 noon in St George's Cathedral.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
