Volunteers are key to enabling us serve and empower the mission of our Church and we welcome volunteers to come and help us in everything we do both at our parishes and within the Diocesan Central Services.
Please speak to your local parish priest if you would like to volunteer at your parish and see below for any volunteering vacancies we may have within Diocesan Central Services.
All volunteering roles working with children and/or adults at risk will be subject to a DBS check and volunteers recruited to those roles will be required to sign up to our Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
All our volunteers will be given access to the Volunteer Handbook which provides information on volunteering with the Diocese.
- Depending on need at any one time, the Diocese may have voluntary roles in general administration, fundraising, evangelisation, education or communication. To register a general interest in volunteering with the Diocese, email: volunteering@rcaos.org.uk
- Parishioners interested in becoming a Deanery Mentor should contact the Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis
