Diocese of Brentwood Bishop’s Delegate For Civil Administration

We are seeking to appoint a Bishop’s Delegate for Civil Administration. In a time of significant change, the Diocese of Brentwood is seeking an experienced Executive to work on behalf of the Bishop to lead and nurture Senior Administrative and Pastoral Leaders within the Diocesan Curia.


£80,000-£85,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.


This is a 23 month fixed term contract.

Hours of Work

20 hours per week, part-time appointment.


Cathedral House, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 8AT.

Annual leave

28 days inclusive of bank holidays (the entitlement for part time employees will be pro-rated based on your working hours).


The Diocese offers a non-contributory pension scheme.
