Archdiocesan Youth Day March 2024
Children from across Kent and South London gathered for the latest Archdiocesan youth day
The latest Archdiocesan youth day saw children and young people from across Kent and South London gather at Richard Challoner School on Saturday 9 March.
It was an action packed day, with a focus on helping the children to grow in their faith and build stronger relationships with Christ.
The children heard from Fr Samuel Burke OP - a former Barrister and now Naval Chaplain - who spoke to them about the evidence for the divinity of Christ. It was a lively session, with the children passionately engaged.
The day also saw the children play football, rounders and crafts. There was plenty of time to reflect on Christ and the children were guided through Adoration. Bishop Philip Moger gave Benediction to all present.
Throughout the day children submitted questions into the Question Box which were read out and answered in the lively Q&A session. The eventful day finished with pizza and games.
If you would like to join the next Youth Day or if you have a young person in your family who may want to attend, it will be on Saturday 11th May at St George’s Cathedral.
