New Dawn Pilgrimage 2024 at Walsingham
You are invited to join thousands of pilgrims who will gather for the New Dawn Pilgrimage in Walsingham this Summer.
The New Dawn Pilgrimage will take place between Monday 5th and Friday 9th August 2024 at the National Shrine and Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham. It is a family-friendly event with a full programme of liturgy, sacraments, praise and worship.
During 5 days there will be a wealth of keynote speakers, including the Apostolic Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia, Archbishop John Wilson: Metropolitan Archbishop of Southwark, Fr Columba Jordan SFR, Fr Pascal Uche and Michelle Moran, A variety of workshops will also be available, with special ministries for children and youth.
On Wednesday 7th August, the Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain will join the visit of the Pericardium Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis in the Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham. Acutis has recently had a second miracle attributed by the Vatican, clearing his path to sainthood. The afternoon will include a talk, Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
New Dawn is blessed by Pope Francis and endorsed by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales. It is attended by up to 2,000 participants and streamed to over 200,000 viewers worldwide.
