Guild of St Stephen Altar Servers Rally 2024
The Annual Rally for Southwark Altar Servers will take place on the May Day Bank Holiday - Monday 6th May 2024 - at The Friars, Aylesford Priory, Kent. Canon Victor Darlington, the Episcopal Vicar for the South East Area of Southwark, will be the principal celebrant.
During the Rally, Servers will be enrolled into the Guild of St Stephen, while those already in the Guild may renew their promises. There will be an opportunity to acknowledge parish servers, who will be presented with a long service award, such as the silver medal, which is given for ten years of service.
The annual rally gives servers a great opportunity to collectively acknowledge and celebrate their special Ministry of Service in the Church. The gathering also encourages servers to socialise, share and renew their faith, helping build God's kingdom.
All are most welcome to attend, including anyone who wishes to ‘Come and See’, to learn more about serving in their parish.
