Around 300 young adults gathered at St George's Cathedral in late April for an evening exploring God's call and the gift of vocation within the Church.
The event featured a keynote talk from Bishop Gerard Bradley, Auxiliary Bishop of Southwark, on priesthood, and talks by Sr Stella Muia on religious life and Diego Sarkissian and Claudia Schmuckler on marriage.
The event included praise and worship, choral music and veneration of St. John Henry Newman as young people prayed for the Lord to reveal the definite service he has in mind for them.
By way of follow up, St. George’s Young adults is currently hosting a series on vocation and has hosted some inspiring speakers including Fr Conor McGrath on priesthood, Sr Rogita Bonaventure FMDM on Religious Life, and Greg and Lucy Treloar on marriage.
