Archbishop John: “Witness to life is a witness to Christ”
Archbishop Joins over 10,000 people at the March for Life 2026
In a joyful witness for Christ, Archbishop John Wilson joined over 10,000 people who marched through the streets of London for life.
At the March, Archbishop John said;
“I'm here on the March for Life 2026 on a really joyful demonstration of faith and witness for the dignity of human life. The people here are grandparents, young people, young adults, parents, clergy, religious sisters, all kinds of different people - many who share my faith, some who don't - but we're united in one conviction: that the dignity of human life is paramount. That without a dignified approach to human life, what basis do we have for a civilised society?
“So we want to say today that human life matters, that every life matters, from first moments of conception to natural death, and we're doing that joyfully, with great confidence and with great love.
“Witness to life is a witness to Christ, because Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’. He comes to bring us life by his resurrection. So we are the people of life, because Jesus rose from the dead and gave us the precious gift of life, which we want to live in its fullness.”
Natasha, a practising nurse, powerfully shared why she had joined the thousands at the March for Life:
“As a nurse and as someone who works in the healthcare sector, I can tell you that abortion is not healthcare. It not only harms the baby, but it also hurts the mother and the family.
“We are a pro-life generation. Let’s all stand for the truth, for the Word of God and stand with the unborn and pray for the unborn”.
The March for Life unites the pro-life movement and demonstrates that there are people in every generation in the country who are determined to create momentum that will flip the nation into life.
