The Latin American community filled St George's Cathedral on Sunday 4 October for the Misa de las Américas, with a joyful, colourful and prayerful celebration of Holy Mass.
Worshippers processed into the Cathedral carrying the flags of their home nations, with many dressed in traditional national dress, filling the Cathedral with colour as they gave thanks to God together as one family of faith.
The Mass was followed by Eucharistic Adoration, with over 1,000 people remaining to worship the Lord Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
St George's Cathedral has long been a spiritual home for London's Spanish-speaking community, with a weekly Mass in Spanish celebrated every Sunday at 1pm.
