Archbishop Medal awarded to Cathedral volunteers
James Green, Nikki Rutherford and Seb Budner receive the Archbishop's Medal for their incredible service
On the Second Sunday of Advent, Archbishop John Wilson awarded the Archbishop Medal to James Green, Nikki Rutherford and Seb Budner for their incredible gift of generosity and love for St George's Cathedral.
James is retiring as Mace bearer, Sacristan and Cathedral florist. James has served St George's Cathedral faithfully for 25 years. Archbishop John, when presenting the medal, thanked James for his wonderful gift of service.
Nikki is a Mace bearer and Head sacristan at the Cathedral, often works very long hours to serve the Cathedral. Archbishop John thanked Nikki for her ongoing service, and especially for the love and generous support she gives to the Cathedral.
Seb is a Lay clerk but also works tirelessly to help promote the Cathedral, through its website, social media and formatting the Cathedral's publications and Orders of Service. Archbishop John thanked Seb for this generous and invaluable gift.
