Location: London and Kent

Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week).

Flexibility and TOIL: Thursday evenings (for Young Adults Group events), First Sunday of the month and Saturdays (for Youth Events)

Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata. Reimbursement for travel to Kent

Job Purpose

The Event Coordinator ensures youth and young adult events are welcoming, safe, wello rganised,

and professionally delivered. This is a practical, people-facing role for someone

who enjoys making things happen, coordinating volunteers, and creating excellent

participant experiences.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Proven experience in event coordination, project management, or logistics.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage stock levels, oversee logistics, and ensure timely transport of
  • materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT
  • Commitment to the values and mission of the Catholic Church.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Desirable

  • Experience in youth ministry or similar faith-based roles.
  • Familiarity with Catholic liturgy, practices, and traditions.
  • Experience in volunteer coordination and management.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
